HARMONY GARDEN CONCERT SERIES

One of the most influential figures on the current jazz scene in Peru, Gabriel Alegria leads this six-piece ensemble. Traditional Afro-Peruvian music is transformed by Alegría’s highly personal synthesis of folkloric Afro-Peruvian rhythms, jazz, and other musical strains. With this, the band creates a signature experience: a blend of deep scholarship and playfulness which conveys a vast knowledge of the music and, perhaps more importantly, transmits black music from coastal Peru as a way of life to its audiences.

WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS

As we ease into the fall season, we're making a few changes to our weekly schedule. Rather than our traditional Wednesday dinner service, we invite you to join us for Wellness Wednesdays—a candlelit wellness offering at 5:30pm each week featuring rotating facilitators, with practices such as yoga asana, breathwork, sound baths, Ayurvedic and herbal medicine workshops and more. We look forward to offering a different kind of nourishment on Wednesday evenings for the final weeks of our season!
